Sleeping the day away

Sunday, December 14th
Yeah, we didn't wake up till 1pm.  The day just passed us by.  By the time we were all ready to leave it was 3pm.  This meant no zorbing or kiwi encounter.  But yes to KFC.  Steph was craving it, so we went on our adventure to look for it.  We didn't find it, and actually gave up to go to a Thai place instead.  On the way we bumped into some kids.  If anyone will know where kfc was, kids would, and they did!  They gave us directions on how to get there.  So back in the car we went to look for kfc.
These kids were maybe 10 years old, and probably didn't drive.  So the walking directions didn't coincide with the driving directions so much.  But fear not, we still found it...but couldn't get into the driveway.  We kept on ending up in the wrong side of the road.  Alfio tried to get to the other side of the road, by making four right turns.  As you suspect it didn't work out so well.  Like Nilesh said, four rights will put you back at the same spot.  We were all just tired and eventually parked across the street to walk over to the kfc.  We had a big fried chicken feast in there.  It was yummy in my tummy.  So healthy!
Afterwards we drove back to base hostel. Nilesh went to sleep, while the rest of us walked to the park.  Rototua smells like rotten eggs because of the thermal pools.  At the park, we checked out the geysers and played in the jungle gym.  We couldn't figure out how to play on some of the jungle stuff and needed a kid to show us.  After a bit, we sat on the bench, reading, chatting, blogging, and writing.  Then it got too cold so we went back to the hostel where some went on internet, some played ps2, and some were packing.  At around 8pm we went for some Thai food.  We first went into the video store to pick up a NZ movie called Black Sheep and Nilesh's recommendation East of East.  The Thai food was pretty good.
After the crazy drinking night, we went back to our hostel for a low key movie night.  I did some packing first because I'm going to try to catch the flight the next day back to New York since we don't have much planned in the next few days.  I figured I'll just spend some more time in New York before my departure to Norway.  Our dvd plans didn't work out so well because the stupid dvd player was broken.  It just wasn't meant for us to rent movies.
Lucky us the TV was showing Frequency. So we watched that until 1am before we went to bed.  As I was falling asleep, I was wondering if I will be going home the next day.
